Join the Evergreen Park Public Library to make holiday cards for kids who are hospitalized. They will send the cards to the Chicago organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids (http://www.
Stampin' Up Cards, December 3rd at 6:30p.m.
Esther Thoele of Stampin' Up will teach you how to use decorative rubber stamps and accessories to make personal greeting cards. Participants will create different themed cards each month. Bring your own scissors and adhesive. Register for each class separately. Pay instructor directly. Evergreen Park Public Library
Yak and Yarn ~ Tuesday, December 3, 10 and 17 at 6:30 p.m.
The Yak and Yarn Club is open to crocheters and beginning knitters as well. 6th grade - adult are welcome. Sessions are held in the library’s Reading Room. Beginning crochet students should bring an H/8 hook and skein of medium weight yarn; beginning knitters should bring size 8 needles and a skein of medium weight yarn. All others bring a current project you are working on to enjoy the camaraderie of crocheting and knitting with others. Evergreen Park Public Library

Furoshiki: Japanese Fabric Gift Wrapping ~ December 9th, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
In an effort to reduce the amount that ends up in the landfill, why not reduce paper waste this holiday season by wrapping your packages in pretty reusable Christmas Furoshiki (Japanese Fabric Wrapping). A furoshiki can be used to wrap gifts, wine bottles, books, groceries, or just about anything. Evergreen Park Public Library
Fresh Holiday Wreath 2 ~ December 10th from 6:30 to 8p.m.
Master Gardener and Master Naturalist Sue Palka, will guide you in creating a fabulous, FRESH wreath made with a variety of fresh greens and adorned with ribbons and ornaments. $30. Evergreen Park Public Library
Senior Advisory Group ~ Tuesday, January 7, 2020, 11 am
Evergreen Park residents ages 55+ are invited to join the library's newly-formed Senior Advisory Group to share ideas to improve the library's services, facilities, and programming for seniors. The Senior Advisory Group meets on the first Tuesday of the month through September 2020. Light refreshments will be served. Evergreen Park Public Library
